There are 107 comfortable guest rooms at the Hotel Museum. All rooms are en-suite and feature hair dryer, mini bar, direct dial telephone, radio/alarm clock, cable and pay-to-view TV. The Hotel Museum is situated near the historic centre of the city and has three famous museums, the Rembrandt Museum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Municipal Museum very close by. The city's exciting nightlife can be found on the Leidseplein with its city theatre, discos cinemas and casino. The most famous building in Amsterdam is Anne Frankhuis which attracts attracts over half a million tourists each year; it was here that Anne Frank wrote her famous diaries whilst hiding during the Second World War. A boat trip on the many canals is a good way to see Amsterdam and it is from here that you can really appreciate how picturesque the city is; with its tall, narrow houses houses, imposing arched bridges and the fabulous boathouses which line the canals.
